Bologna redeeming themselves after the humiliation on Week 2 being crushed by Torino with a mega goleada 5-1 at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium.   Bologna win the second home match of the season defeating Cagliari to climb up to 6 points.  Cagliari failing to win  after their 2-2 draw against AS Roma at the Sant’Elia Stadium and remain with 1 point.

Good start.  Bologna opening the score in the 23rd minute.  It’s forward Simone Verdi to defeat Cagliari goalkeeper Marco Storari with a right footed free kick shot despite his attempt to save in the bottom left corner.

Cagliari in deep trouble.  In the 54th minute, Referee Abisso giving a red card to goalkeeper Marco Storari for a handball!!   Oh my gosh…. Cagliari remaining with 10 players.  Coach Massimo Rastelli must regroup his lineup and forced for the substitution in the 55th minute sacrificing midfielder Nicolò Barella to bring goalkeeper Rafael.

Bologna smacking another goal in the 74th minute.  It’s Federico Di Francesco to defeat goalkeeper Rafael with a left footed shot in the center.  The assist is by Ladislav Krejci.

Cagliari shortening the distance in the 83rd minute.  Defender Bruno Alves defeating Bologna goalkeeper  Da Costa with a right footed free kick shot in the top left corner.
