Atalanta extended their advantage in the 9th minute when Mateo Retegui found the net with a left-footed strike into the bottom left corner. Lookman was once again a threat near the area; his shot was blocked, but the ball fell perfectly for Retegui, who then fired an unstoppable right-footed shot past Montipò.

Atalanta is on fire, scoring goals left and right in this first half! In the 14th minute, forward Charles De Ketelaere found the net with a stunning left-footed shot into the top left corner, thanks to an assist from Ademola Lookman. What a brilliant play from the Belgian, who took Lookman’s advice and delivered a fantastic curling shot that left Montipò with no chance. The score is now Atalanta 3 – 0 Hellas Verona! Incredible!

Atalanta has struck gold in the 29th minute! Ademola Lookman found the back of the net with a precise right-footed shot into the bottom left corner. After contributing with two assists and playing a key role in Retegui’s goal, he adds his own name to the scoresheet with a right-footed cross that outsmarts Montipò. Wow, what a moment! Atalanta has just scored their fifth goal! In the 34th minute, Ademola Lookman netted his second of the match. He found the back of the net from close range with a right-footed shot right down the middle. Charles De Ketelaere provided the assist. What a fantastic partnership between Lookman and De Ketelaere! Goals are flying in at the Gewiss!

At last, Hellas Verona is making their move! In the 42nd minute, Amin Sarr found the back of the net with a stunning left-footed shot into the top left corner, thanks to an assist from Reda Belahyane.

It’s still raining goals at the Gewiss! The current score stands at Atalanta 6, Verona 1. In the 58th minute, Mateo Retegui netted a goal from very close range with a left-footed shot that curled into the top left corner. Charles De Ketelaere delivered a brilliant through ball to Retegui, who expertly handled the one-on-one situation with Montipò to complete his brace.
