AS Roma got what they needed, a victory!   The race for the Scudetto keeping alive after Roma defeated Atalanta at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia Stadium.  Roma now reaching 28 points to be neck to neck with Juventus.

It’s a surprising goal for Atalanta!  Not even a minute passing by when forward Maximiliano Moralez defeats AS Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis with a right footed shot in the top right corner with assist by midfielder Cristian Raimondi.  The goal happening in the 57 second.  Surely, celebration among players and the fans outpouring their support.

Roma equalizing the score in the 23rd minute.  It is forward Adem Ljajic to defeat Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello with a diagonal right footed shot in the bottom right corner.  The assist is by midfielder Miralem Pjanic.  Great move by Ljajic because he calculated his run well making his way for the final shot.

 

An upset at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia with AS Roma taking the lead.  In the 42nd minute, midfielder Radja Nainggolan defeating Atalanta goalkeeper Sportiello with a diagonal left footed shot in the bottom right corner.  The assist is by forward Adem Ljajic.
