Roma needed to win to keep up the race for the Scudetto with Juventus who are 3 points ahead with 34 points.  Mission done.     It’s the first lost for Inter coach Roberto Mancini since replacing coach Walter Mazzarri.  Mancini  had to be sent off in the 61st minute for protesting.  Inter went down from the 9th to the 11 position while Roma keeping the second position with 31 points.

Stats continuing in favor of Roma unbeaten by Inter in the previous last 6 games with a combo of 3 wins, and 3 draws.

It is AS Roma to open the score in the 21st minute with forward Gervinho defeating Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.

Inter equalizing in the 36th minute following a corner conceded by AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas.   The corner assist is by Inter midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic  to defender Andrea Ranocchia defeating Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis with a headed shot in the bottom left corner.

The Roman gladiators taking back the lead in the 47th minute.    It is  defender José Holebas   to make a great goal overtaking  Inter defenders Hugo Campagnaro and Andrea Ranocchia to finally deliver a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.   The assist is by Seydou Keita.

Inter equalizing again in the 57th minute with ex Roma forward Pablo Daniel Osvaldo defeating Roma goalkeeper De Sanctis with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.  The assist is by defender Dodo.  Osvaldo celebrating with Inter fans

Just a crazy game witha  give and take… Here it goes again AS Roma back in the leadership in the 60th minute with midfielder Miralem Pjanic defeating Inter goalkeeper Handanovic with a right footed shot in the center.  The assist is by Captain Francesco Totti.

Problems for Inter in the 61st minute because Referee Valeri sent off coach Roberto Mancini  for protesting….   arguably the protest for a  presumptive foul by Holebas on Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin before the goal of Pjanic.

AS Roma coach Rudi Garcia making 2 substitutions.  In the 63rd minute  midfielder Alessandro Florenzi replacing forward Adem Ljaic.  In the 64th minute midfielder Daniele De Rossi replacing midfielder Seydou Keita.

Inter reinforcing the midfield by substituting in the 67th minute  midfielder Mateo Kovacic with midfielder Yann M’Vila.

Chances for Inter in the 67th minute with  forward Rodrigo Palacio providing the assist to midfielder Gary Medel challenging Roma goalkeeper De Sanctis with a left footed shot though saved in the bottom right corner.

The final nail in the coffin…  in the 92nd minute, Roma midfielder Pjanic crushing Inter with the 4th goal of the game defeating Inter goalkeeper with a right footed free kick   in the top left corner.

Roma archiving the draw against CSKA Moscow in Russia to fully concentrate at the Olimpico.  Inter are flying high after a victory in Europa League.
