AS Roma failing the mission to win this home game while Inter with the pressure also unable to score.  Game ending with a goalless draw  at the Olimpico Stadium.   The gap between Roma and Inter is of 17 points!  It’s a blow for  Roma because they needed the victory   to keep up the race for the
scudetto along Juventus.  Here is the situation.  If Juventus defeat tomorrow AC Milan, the gap with Roma will be of +11.  Sure, Roma still have a pending game against Parma.   Inter needed to win to keep the 5th position now
risk going down to the 6th position depending if Hellas Verona defeat Bologna.  Verona having 39 points while Inter reach 41 points.

First half not that exciting apart of the ruled out goal.  Referee Bergonzi rules out the goal by Roma forward Mattia Destro for being offside after getting the assist by midfielder Radja Nainggolan. 

First half ending 47% ball possession AS Roma and 53% ball possession Inter.

Roma making the first substitution in the 55th minute with midfielder Miralem Pjanic replacing forward Adem Ljajic.

First yellow card of the match in the 48th minute for Inter defender Walter Samuel for a foul on Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman.

Inter with a substitution in the 64th minute with midfielder Hernanes replacing midfielder Ricardo Alvarez.  Roma fans giving a tough welcome to the ex Lazio player with a loud noise.. whistles for Hernanes at the Olimpico.
