On Week 17 game ending: Inter 1 – 0 AC Milan It’s the 160th Milan Derby in Serie A.  It’s AC Milan  to claim the bragging rights to rule the City of Milan.  Stats in favor of Inter with 60 victories while AC Milan winning now 50 and 50 draws.  Milan had their revenge time.  Inter had not lost a Milan Derby since 5 games until today when AC Milan scored the winner goal in the 65th minute.  This victory helps Milan jump from the 10th position to the 8th position while Inter remain in the 5th position. Referee Bergonzi giving the first yellow card of the match to AC Milan defender Philippe Mexes in the 16th minute after a foul on Inter forward Mauro Icardi. Pressing from AC Milan in the 28th minute.  Forward Mario Balotelli providing the assist to Kaka seeing his chances frustrated as Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic saves the right footed shot in the bottom right corner. A beautiful chance for AC Milan in the 37th minute with an inspired Kaka getting the assist by Nigel De Jong.  Kaka’ running fast delivers a right footed shot while “Lady Luck” moving away and the ball hits the bar!!!! Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso gets a yellow card in the 40th minute. It’s until the 65th minute that a goal arrives to the delight of the Rossoneri fans in San Siro!  Yep, there it is the free kick from the right by forward Balotelli finding at the right place midfielder Nigel De Jong for the headed shot defeating Inter goalkeeper Handanovic in the bottom left corner.  It’s a precious goal for Milan and not a good news for Inter who did not concede goals since 351 minutes.   Inter refreshing the midfield by replacing Esteban Cambiasso with midfielder Fredy Guarin in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Milan substituting midfielder Andrea Poli with midfielder Sulley Muntari. AC Milan making a substitution in the 76th minute by adding fresh energy!  Seedorf decides to replace Kaka’ with forward Giampaolo Pazzini. Hello, hello, hello!!!! In the 77th minute a goal by Balotelli from about 25 meters and just when starting celebration, linesman lifting the flag to rule out the goal because forward Pazzini was caught offside. Inter making a substitution in the 78th minute repalcing midfielder Jonathan with midfielder Ricardo Alvarez.  Time running for Inter rushing to shorten the distance.   AC Milan reinforcing the defense in the final 6 minutes by replacing defender Kevin Constant with defender Ignazio Abate in the 86th minute.   Desperate moments and just in the 90th minute, Referee Bergonzi giving a yellow card to Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati……. That’s it…  Referee whistles the end of the game !  Immediately, a closeup in the Tribune showing VP Adriano Galliani shouting to celebrate this victory!.
