Pescara announcing the sacking of Coach Massimo Oddo on February 14, 2017, as reported by Pescara official website. For the moment, the team will continue their training program under the guidance of Luciano Zauri. The new coach will be announced shortly.
Pescara up to Serie A Week 24 are in the last position of the Table with only 9 points, 1 win, 6 draws, and losing 17 games. Pescara also having the worst defense conceding 55 goals having a negative goal difference of -33. It’s a tough situation because the relegation to Serie B next season is almost a reality.

“La Delfino Pescara 1936 dopo i confronti avvenuti nella giornata di ieri, ed un ulteriore confronto svolto quest’oggi tra il presidente Daniele Sebastiani il tecnico Massimo Oddo alla presenza del direttore sportivo Luca Leone, giunge a malincuore alla decisione di sollevare l’allenatore dalla guida tecnica biancazzurra insieme al suo secondo Marcello Donatelli, con la speranza che questo ulteriore sacrificio possa responsabilizzare l’attuale gruppo di calciatori affinchè non si ripetano mai più prestazioni come quelle offerte.”
