Lazio living a sad day losing the game against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. For Lazio failing to return to Champions League after 8 years since the time of Coach Delio Rossi. Lazio are eliminated and won’t pass to the Champions League Group Stage. The aggregate result is 3-1.

Bayer Leverkusen opening the score in the 40th minute. It’s midfielder Hakan . A bad luck for Lazio because the goal resulted after the ball deflecting off defender Stefan Radu leaving the ball at the feet of Çalhanoğlu defeated Lazio goalkeeper Etrit Berisha.
Second goal of the match in the 48th minute is by forward Admir Mehmedi getting the assist by Karim Bellarabi.
Another blow for Lazio after Referee Carlos Velasco gives a second yellow card to defender Mauricio making an automatic red card in the 68th minute. Lazio remained with 10 players.
The final nail in the coffin arriving in the 88th minute with Leverkusen scoring the third goal of the match to crush Lazio’s dream. It is a painful goal becaue the net was empy as goalkeeper Etrit Berisha was out of his zone…..
