Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is ruled out for the game 2014 FIFA World Cup against England on Saturday 14 June. Buffon sprained his ankle during training on Friday 13 and could not recover.  as confirmed by Italy head coach Cesare Prandelli, it is Italy second goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu to be in the lineup.  Sirigu plays for Paris Saint Germain who are France League 1 champions.  Sirigu previously played for Palermo.

All the best to Buffon wishing him a prompt recovery and the best also for Sirigu to protect Italy against England attack.
