Czech Republic win the UEFA Euro Round of 16 defeating Netherlands on Sunday 27 June 2021 at the Ferenc Puskás Aréna in Budapest. Czech Republic qualifying to the Quarterfinals!    A total upset for Netherlands who finished Group C winners while Czech Republic came third in Group D. Netherlands won all three games in the Round of 16 defeating Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia just to fall down at Wembley. Czech Republic finished third in Group D with 4 points behind England and Croatia and caused the big surprise clinging the Quarterfinals against the favorites.

Stats: Matthijs de Ligt is the first Dutch player to receive a red card in a European Championship game since John Heitinga in 2004 sent off against Czech.

Czech Republic opening the score in the 68th minute. It is Tomás Holes to defeat Netherlands goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The headed assist is by Tomas Kalas.
