Juventus win the 2015 Supercoppa Italiana!!!!

 

Juventus  win the 2015 Supercoppa Italia after defeating Lazio in Shanghai on Saturday 8 August 2015.  Juventus confirming their leadership winning everything in Italy.    Juventus already winner of the 2014 – 2015 Scudetto,  winning the 2015 Coppa Italia Final after defeating Lazio and again defeating Lazio this time in the Supercoppa Italiana to reaffirm their dominion in Italian football.  It’s like stating their firm conviction to be the best Italian team resolving the situation in just 5 minutes in the second half to claim the Italian Super Cup.

A special victory for the two new Juventus players scoring goals sending a clear message to coach Massimiliano Allegri that they are ready to be decisive in the season!   It’s the New Juventus era with these 2 new players after the departure of top players forward Carlos Tevez, midfielder Andrea Pirlo, and midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Yep, it is Mario Mandzukic to open the score in the 69th minute defeating Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti with a headed shot after the assist from the right wing by Stefano Sturaro.    Marchetti not having enough time to stretch to save the goal and just observe the ball inside the bottom left corner.   Mandzukic  in top form jumping higher enough to leave 2 Lazio players frustrated for the final headed shot.  This goal starting the party in Shanghai with Juventus fans in frenzy chanting and rooting for the team.

The second goal is by Argentinian forward Paulo Dybala in the 74th minute defeating goalkeeper Marchetti with a left footed shot after getting the assist by midfielder Paul Pogba.   Top response and showing Allegri he can count on him.  Dybala came as a substitute in the 61st minute replacing Kingsley Coman.   Surely, with this goal, Dybala is gaining now more followers among the Bianconeri.

Allegri substituting Mandzukic in the 80th minute to bring forward Fernando Llorente.  Mandzukic leaves the pitch with a standing ovation delighting Chinese fans waving Juventus flags, banners and outpouring their support to his new Juventus hero.

Lazio will have to speed up their training and improve their performance as they will play the Champions League Playoff against Bayer Leverkusen on August 18.
