Hello my friends. Here is  the Serie A PREVIEW for Week 18 on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 January, 2015.   Mamma mia, hello, hello, we are set for an exciting round because the Serie A leadership might change !  Here is the situation.  Juventus leading with 40 points while AS Roma following in the second position with 39 points.  Simply put, there is only 1 point difference!

What might happen?   If Juventus lose against Napoli at the San Paolo Stadium and AS Roma defeat or draw with Lazio…. we will have new leaders with the Roman gladiators commanding.    It’s a tough situation for Juventus going to Naples to grab the full 3 points while Roma are playing the Derby della Capitale against Lazio at the Olimpico di Roma stadium.  Napoli vs Juventus will be broadcasted in all 5 continents through most important networks.  An all Argentinian forward duel between Juventus forward Carlos Tevez and Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain….  Napoli already defeated Juventus in Dubai winning the Supercoppa Italiana, will it be a revenge for Juventus?  Will Napoli win again to secure their dominion over Juve?

It’s an amazing round not only for the Derby della Capitale, but also because the first 3 position might change!  So far, Juventus are owner of their won destiny because they can keep the first position winning their game against Napoli.  Simply put, Lazio and Napoli have 30 points each and both need to win their games too.  For Lazio, a victory against Roma means keeping the third position.  Now, if Napoli defeat Juventus and Roma defeat Lazio, wow, wow, wow, we will have a switch order with Napoli taking over the third position and Roma the first position.  It’s just a round to keep both eyes open and not blink…..

Awaited debuts in Serie A in this round include Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri for Inter and forward Alessio Cerci with AC Milan.

The top scorer up to Round 17: Juventus forward Carlos Tevez with 11 goals
