AC MILAN YOUTH: RUN GOES ON, Saturday 30 January 2016

Primavera see off Cesena and extend winning streak to four.

MILAN – Goals from Cutrone and Vassallo gave the Milan Primavera a 2-0 win at home to Cesena on Saturday afternoon to stretch the team’s winning run in the league to four games. The Rossoneri made a bright start to the contest and just before the half-hour mark Crociata unleashed a fierce strike which skimmed the post.

Minutes later however Brocchi’s boys found the breakthrough thanks to Patrick Cutrone who connected with a Piacentini knock down on a corner to bury the ball home from close range.

Cesena started the second half in lively fashion but on 74 minutes the Rossoneri doubled their lead when Vassallo went clear on goal and made no mistakes to put the ball beyond the Cesena shot-stopper.

Hadziosmanovic had a chance to score a third in the closing stages only to send his effort off-target following a Milan counter attack.
