Italian Soccer Serie A

The Lega Serie A have elected Paolo Dal Pino to be the new president on Wednesday 8 January 2020.   Paolo Dal Pino, CEO of Telit Communications and previously CEO of Wind and Pirelli.

Dal Pino received 12 votes, one more than the minimum number required, from the 20 Serie A teams.  Gaetano Miccichè received 7 votes, who resigned in November after complaints about his appointment.

Reportedly, Roma,  AC Milan and Napoli voted for Dal Pino.  Juventus, Torino, Inter and other clubs instead wanted Gaetano Miccichè to return who had resigned last year.
