Juventus making the official announcement that the new coach is Maurizio Sarri on Sunday 16 June 2019. Sarri was coaching Chelsea in the Premier League and won the UEFA Europa League. Sarri signed a three-year contract with Juventus until June 30, 2022.   It is a good transfer market for Juventus on their quest to win the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus FC TicketsSarri coached his last game Chelsea in the UEFA Europa League final ending his one year with Chelsea in grand style: Chelsea 4 – 1 Arsenal.   Sarri lifted his first European trophy.

Sarri, 60 years old, was born in Naples on January 10, 1959.  Sarri’s professional coaching career started since 2005 in the Serie B championship, leading Pescara, Arezzo and Avellino.   The road to Serie A, however, was still long: Sarri guided, Verona, Perugia, Grosseto, Alessandria and Sorrento, between the Serie B league and the lega pro.

Then in 2012 the story began… with Empoli: in his initial season, Sarri almost led his team to promotion to the top flight, however, Livorno was able to win in the play-off final. A year later, that same Empoli team finished second and were able to reach a new rank in the top division.

After a successful campaign with Empoli, keeping them in the top league, there were no questions to be asked about the quality of the manager.

In 2015, Sarri landed in Naples.   Sarri’s record with Napoli is high being the main contender for his “now team” Juventus.  Sarri’s years with Napoli from 2015 to 2018 ended with 82, 86 and 91 points. Each seasonal improvement was a Serie A record for the Club. Two out of the three seasons, Napoli avoided the preliminary qualification to the Champions League and advanced straight to the group stages.

In 2019, Sarri’s new season starting his adventure with Juventus.  All the best.
