MILAN – The Palermo sporting director, Manuel Gerolin, spoke to the press this afternoon ahead of the match against Milan. He said:

“We know that when a team is young and with a lot of foreign players it takes time to settle doen. Now our position in the table gives us hope for something better but we have to improve for next year. I expect consistency which means not playing two games well but four. We have to continue on this path that we have taken, Milan are not Carpi, they are full of stars and even without a win in the derby we knew their strengths. This game arrives at the perfect moment in order for our players to mature as a team. We respect Milan but we can play a good match.”
