Italian Soccer Serie A
Hello, my friends! Although Italy will not take part in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, many of our Italian Serie A players will be participating with their respective national teams. The World Cup will kick off on Sunday 20 November 2022 with Qatar vs Ecuador at the Al-Bayt Stadium. The Final will be on Sunday 28 December at the Lusail National Stadium. The Serie A will resume until Wednesday 4 January 2023.
✅ I will be covering the games giving priority to our Serie A players. Here is the breakdown: (Updated November 17)
- Serbia with the most called up players with a total of 11 players. Poland have 10 players.
- Group G (Cameroon, Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland) there are 20 players.
- Group C (Argentina, Poland, Mexico and Saudi Arabia) includes 16.
- Group E (Spain, Costa Rica, Germany and Japan) does not include any Serie A players.
- Juventus have the most called up players, a total of 11, followed by AC Milan with 7, and Inter with 6.
- We have also 3 players from Serie B: Brescia, Benevent, and Bari
** November 17: Nicolas Gonzalez (Fiorentina) and Joaquin Correa (Inter) were knocked out for injuries and forced to return home missing the World Cup.
