The Luigi Berlusconi Trophy returns after six years of absence.  The 25th edition will be played with AC Monza vs Juventus at the U-Power Stadium in Monza on Saturday 31 July at 9 pm.  The Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi (Luigi Berlusconi Trophy) was an annual friendly football match organized by AC Milan, and usually was played in August at the San Siro Stadium. The Luigi Berlusconi Trophy was last played in 2015. The 24th and final edition was played in 2015 between AC Milan and Inter ending in favor of Inter 1–0.

The competition was founded by the ex owner of AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi in memory of his father Luigi, and was originally intended to be contested by AC Milan and a former European Cup winners. The first edition took place on 23 August 1991 ending AC Milan 1 – 2 Juventus. From this year, AC Monza, owned by Silvio Berlusconi, will host a team that, in the course of its history, has won the European Cup / Champions League or the Libertadores Cup at least once.

In the event of a tie after 90 minutes, it will go directly to penalties.

As is known, the current regulations provide that the maximum number of spectators cannot exceed 1,000.

AC Monza ended the 2019-20 Serie B Season in the third position.
