Juventus facing bad news ahead of the 2022-23 Serie A Debut. Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny underwent radiological exams on Monday 8 August 2022 at J|Medical revealing a low-grade lesion of the adductor longus muscle of the left thigh. As reported by Juventus Club, Szczęsny is expected to be out for around 20 days. Szczęsny felt a discomfort at the end of the first half on Sunday 7 August of the match against Atletico Madrid (Juventus 4-0 loss to Atletico Madrid.)
Juventus will start the new Serie A on Monday 15 August against Sassuolo at the Juventus Stadium.
We wish Szczęsny a prompt recovery.
