The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announcing the Schedule of the Italian National Team for the friendly games Italy vs France on 1 September 2016 at 21:00 at the San Nicola Stadium in Bari. France are the EURO 2016 runners-up. The second game is Italy vs Israel on Monday 05 September 2016 at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa, Israel for the Group G qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Italy Head Coach Giampiero Ventura will make his debut with the Italian team after replacing Head Coach Antonio Conte. Ventura will announce the called up players on Saturday 27 August and training will be at the National Training Center in Coverciano.
- Stats: Italy and France have met 37 times with stats showing 18 wins for Italy, 9 French wins and 10 draws.
