The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has designated Referee Nicola Rizzoli to direct the Serie A Week 2 game AS Roma vs Juventus on Sunday 30 August 2015 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy at 18:00. Rizzoli will be assisted by Gianluca Cariolato and Mauro Tonolini while fourth official is Andrea Padovan. Additional goal-line assistants will be Luca Banti and Massimiliano Irrati.
Rizzoli, 43-year old, officiated last year’s World Cup final between Argentina and Germany in Rio de Janeiro as well as over 200 matches in Serie A.
This is the fifth time that Rizzoli has held the whistle for a Roma and Juventus match, the last coming in January 2014 when Juventus defeated Roma at the Juventus Stadium with a 4-1 result.
