Undountedly, it is a good year for Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri. Not only Allegri winning the Scudetto with 4 games to spare, but winning also the Coppa Italia on Wednesday 20 May 2015 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium defeating Lazio. Juventus 2 – 1 Lazio.. It’s a special victory because this is Juventus 10th Coppa Italia. Simply put, my friends, the treble could be a reality if Juventus defeat Barcelona in the Champions League Final.
On winning the Coppa Italia, Allegri saying, “It wasn’t easy to do the league and cup double. Now we’ll see what the next final has in store for us. ”
Allegri giving credit to their opponent, “Lazio were superb, they really are in fine fettle. They were a tad unlucky too, but as we all know moments turn matches in football. Before they hit both posts we had chances of our own.”
Allegri also acknowledging his players, “All the lads did brilliantly. It wasn’t an easy game. Lazio made a strong start then we came into it more in the second half. Going all the way in three competitions as we have is no simple task. We put in a magnificent performance tonight. The players were fantastic.”
