Gianluigi Buffon on winning: “When everything’s going well and you know you’re a great group, things become easier”

What a special moment for legendary Juventus Captain and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon lifting today Saturday 23 May 2015 the Scudetto and Coppa Italia. Juventus winning the Scudetto with 4 games to spare and the Coppa Italia on 20 May. The Official Award Ceremony for the Scudetto presentation made after the Serie A Week 37 Juventus 3 – 1 Napoli game at the Juventus Stadium.

Buffon delighted to give the fans a victory to end the season with the last home game by defeating Napoli. “We took to the field with the usual conviction. When everything’s going well and you know you’re a great group, things become easier and you’re able to handle the absence of important players.”

Buffon adding, “We’ll now enjoy these deserved three days off after a stressful period. Then we’ll start the countdown for our most important game in the last 12 years. Tonight, though, we’ll celebrate – we want to share these achievements together.”

On the Champions League final, Buffon commenting: “It will be a difficult game against a formidable side, but we’ve got the odd weapon of our own and we’ll stand toe to toe with them and give it a good go. Of course if they’re all at 100 per cent it will be a very tough task for us, but we’re here and we won’t be holding back.”
