Good morning my friends. It’s a lovely morning and a beautiful day for Italian football. Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Friday 24 April 2015. How are you? Oh my gosh, I am so happy, very, very, very happy !! First thing I did was to prepare my Cappuccino to check the headlines. I love the headline from La Gazzetta della Sport giving relevance on the reasons why Juventus can make it in the Champions League after qualifying to the semifinal! I agree that now Juventus can dream to win not only the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia, but also the Champions League. Can you imagine the final between Real Madrid and Juventus? or Juventus and Barcelona? or Juventus and Bayern Munich?
That’s not all my friends. Headlines also giving full credit to a super Fiorentina defeating 2-0 Dynamo Kiev at the Artemio Franchi Stadium and qualifying to the Europa League Semifinal thanks to the goals by Mario Gomez and Juan Manuel Vargas. It’s a great accomplishment because it has been since 2008 that Fiorentina missed being at their best. Oh my gosh… I am so happyyyyyy hip hip hurrah!!!
I also agree with the headline giving credit to Napoli despite the 2-2 draw against Wolfsburg at the San Paolo Stadium they qualified to the Semifinal tooooooo after 26 years and now you see why I am so happy today!!!! Just love it… Love to see the Serie A teams being main protagonists in Europa! Po po po po po po pop…..
Headlines also indicating the Champions League draw for the Semifinals today at 12 in Nyon. The 4 Semifinalists are Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
Oh my gosh, on transfer market…. and the future of AC Milan… well, I agree with the daughter of Silvio Berlusconi, Marina, saying that for now is better to be silenced….
Another headline making me happy is about the upcoming Derby della Mole with Torino vs Juventus! Torino captain Glik is highly motivated and believe they can defeat Juventus. Mamma mia, can they?
In the meantime, my friends, it’s party time today to celebrate the good moment of Italian football shining in Europe.. So, accept a virtual Pizza party.
