✅ Stats before the game: This is only Poland’s third match at the World Cup against an Asian national team: they lost 2-0 against the Republic of Korea in 2002 and won 1-0 against Japan in 2018. Saudi Arabia have lost nine of their 10 matches against European national teams at the World Cup, with the exception of a 1-0 win over Belgium in 1994. They have lost all of their last eight games of this kind, not scoring a single goal in their last seven. Poland have kept clean sheets in their last two World Cup matches; from 1974 to 1978 alone did he record three consecutive clean sheets (series of three). Saudi Arabia has won their last two World Cup matches, beating Egypt in their final match of the 2018 tournament and Argentina this year. They had won just two of their first 15 matches in the competition (D2 L11), back-to-back group stage victories in 1994.
