FIFA announcing the match officials for the First Stage Group A game, Egypt vs Uruguay  on Friday June 15 at the Ekaterinburg Arena in Ekaterinburg, Russia at 17:00 local time.   It is Referee Bjorn Kuipers from Netherlands to direct the game.

Referee Kuipers will be assisted by Sander Van Roekel from Netherlands and Erwin Zeinstra also from Netherlands.  The fourth official will be Milorad Mazic from Serbia.

There are 5 Italian Serie A players among the 23-called up by Uruguay Head Coach Óscar Washington Tabárez for the FIFA World Cup in Russia:

  • Lazio defender Martín Cáceres
  • Inter midfielder Matías Vecino
  • Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur
  • Sampdoria midfielder Gastón Ramírez.
  • Genoa midfielder Diego Laxalt

Note:   No Italian Serie A players in Egypt team.
