MILAN – Goals from Alex, Bacca and Niang gave the Rossoneri a 3-0 victory over Inter on Sunday night in round 22 of Serie A.

The Brazilian defender opened the scoring after 35 minutes when he jumped up highest at the back post and nodded in a whipped cross from Keisuke Honda.

Inter emerged in determined mood after the break and Mauro Icardi had the chance to get his side back into the game after he was brought down in the area on 69 minutes, but the Argentinian sent the resulting penalty crashing against the post.

Milan made Inter pay soon after as Bacca came diving in to connect with a cross from Niang and volley the ball home with his knee to double the Rossoneri’s lead.

Just five minutes later and Niang went from provider to goal-scorer sealing victory for Milan on a Bonaventura assist. CLICK HERE for more and the minute by minute match report.
