Uruguay defeated the defending Champion of the Copa America “Chile” on Monday 24 June 2019 at the Maracaná in Río de Janeiro, Brazil. Uruguay will play the Quarterfinals against Peru. Chile, despite losing, also qualified for the Quarterfinals and will play against Colombia.
