Comparing Conceição and Zhegrova: A Closer Look
Juventus forwards

Francisco Conceição and Edon Zhegrova play in the same position, but they’re quite different players. Let’s dig into the numbers carefully.

Conceição has logged 364 minutes as a consistent starter. Zhegrova, on the other hand, has only managed 78 minutes coming off the bench. When it comes to finishing, Conceição scored one goal from 1.24 expected goals, while Zhegrova netted two goals (both in the same match) from just 0.47 expected goals.

These are really two distinct players, so it’s tough to make a definitive call. Conceição attacks the final third by staying wide, whereas Zhegrova tends to drift infield and get involved in building play.

Here’s the real question: how would Zhegrova perform with the same playing time and responsibility?
