The adventure starts with a draw.  Juventus failing to win the UEFA Champions League Group Stage Matchday 1 on Wednesday 18 September 2019 at the Wanda Metropolitano ( La Peineta ) in Madrid, Spain.  Juventus dominating with a 0-2 until the 70th minute when Atletico Madrid reacted to grab this agonizing draw.  Surely, this draw it’s a frustration for Juventus.

It is Juventus to open the score in the 48th minute.  Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado defeating Atletico Madrid goalkeeper with a left footed shot in the top left corner.   The assist is by Gonzalo Higuaín following a fast break.  Superb.

The second goal of the match arriving in the 65th minute.  It is Blaise Matuidi to increase the score wih a headed shot in the high center.   The assist is by Alex Sandro with a cross.

Atletico Madrid shortening the distance for the 1-2 in the 70th minute.  It is Stefan Savic to defeat Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny with a headed shot in the bottom right corner. The  headed assist is by José Giménez.

What a tough goal to swallow!  Juventus losing the lead in the 90th minute.  Atletico de Madrid equalized  with Héctor Herrera’s headed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Kieran Trippier with a cross following a corner conceded by Paulo Dybala.
