Congratulations to Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini for winning the 2018-2019 Panchina d’Oro as best coach of the season.   Gasperini led Atalanta to a historical third place in the Serie A last season qualifying for the first time to play in the UEFA Champions League. The ceremony took place on Monday 4 February 2020. Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic finished in second place, and ex Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri in the third place.

Mihajlovic received a special award for his battle against leukemia and still coaching Bologna despite his medical treatment.
