Sporting CP triumphed over Paris Saint Germain with a score of 2-1 on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, during the UEFA Champions League Matchday 7 at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. The standout player was Colombian forward Luis Suárez, who netted two goals, leaving Paris Saint-Germain stunned! The French team will be the 12th club from France that the Portuguese side has encountered in Europe, and the first since they triumphed over Olympique Marseille 2-1 on Matchday 3 of this season's UEFA Champions League.
