Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:

Cremonese 10th position with 14 points and a goal difference of "0"

✅      Pisa triumphed over Cremonese in Serie A Week 11 on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani in Pisa, Italy. It was undoubtedly a momentous occasion for Pisa, as they secured their first win since their return to Serie A. This victory is significant for the team's morale as they strive to avoid relegation and stay out of the danger zone.

Just picture the celebration with fans as they embraced the team. The last time they enjoyed success in the top flight was back in 1991. The match was fairly even, but after a strong start to the second half by the home side, Cremonese became more threatening, especially with Franco Vázquez, who first struck the crossbar and then challenged goalkeeper Adrian Semper.

Despite a stellar performance from Vandeputte and an overall positive display, particularly in the second half, Cremonese couldn't secure a win. Pisa walked away with all three points, celebrating a vital victory!
In the game...

Pisa took the lead in the 75th minute when Idrissa Touré scored with a header from the center of the box into the bottom right corner, assisted by Mattéo Tramoni's cross. There was nothing Emil Audero, the Cremonese goalkeeper, could do. Just one goal was enough to secure this important home win. Idrissa Touré is also celebrating his very first Serie A goal! Great job, let the festivities begin.

Two Black male soccer players in blue and black striped Atalanta uniforms with yellow accents celebrate on a green soccer field surrounded by a blurred stadium crowd. The player on shoulders wears number 75 jersey and orange cleats, raising arms in joy. The carrying player has muscular build and wears number 17 shorts. They appear ecstatic after scoring.

Pisa Coach Alberto Gilardino claimed his first victory this season.

A male coach with short blond hair and a focused expression wears a black sweater and black pants standing on a blue-turfed soccer field gesturing emphatically with his right hand raised palm forward while his left hand rests in his pocket. Blurred spectators and team members in dark clothing appear in the background under stadium lighting. White sneakers are visible on his feet. The setting suggests a professional match environment.

Stats before the game

Pisa remains unbeaten in eight of their last 10 league matches against the Griso-Rossi (W5 D3), having won the last two (from last season's Serie B campaign) and netting 20 goals (averaging exactly two per game), all during that Serie B period.

Pisa has not lost in their last five home league matches (W3 D2) against Cremonese; their last away victory against the Tuscans was on March 18, 2007 (1-0 in Serie C).

In the last seven encounters between newly promoted teams in Serie A, only one home team has emerged victorious (D4 L2): Cremonese triumphed 3-2 over Sassuolo in their latest match on August 29th, following a stretch where the hosts had won five of their previous six (D1).

Pisa has drawn their last four league matches; the Tuscans have only managed to record five consecutive draws in Serie A on two occasions: in January-February 1986 and October-November 1983.

Only Atalanta has drawn more matches (seven) than Pisa (six) and Cremonese (five, tied with Como and Hellas Verona) in this Serie A season. This marks an all-time record for the Grisorossi after 10 top-flight games this season; the Nerazzurri, conversely, have only once drawn more matches after the same number of games in the tournament (seven in 1983/84).

Pisa is one of just two teams, alongside Genoa, that have yet to score in a home game this season in the Big Five European leagues (with five home games each). More broadly, the Tuscans have managed to score only one goal in their last 12 matches at the Arena Garibaldi in the top-flight (David Fiorentini's goal on May 12, 1991, against Bari).
