AC Milan, 3rd position with 21 points and a positive goal difference of +8
👉 What a missed opportunity! Parma held AC Milan to a draw in the Serie A Week 11 match on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Ennio Tardini Stadium in Parma, Italy. AC Milan was under pressure to win this away game to temporarily take the top spot. The match concluded with a 2-2 draw. In the end, both teams earned a point, leaving Milan unable to sit alone at the top as they had hoped. They are also monitoring the results of Napoli (22 points) and both Inter and Roma, who each have 21 points.
It was a match with two distinct halves at the Tardini. Milan nearly controlled the first half, establishing a two-goal lead thanks to Alexis Saeleamaekers and a penalty successfully converted by Rafael Leão.
Suddenly, the game's momentum shifted. Milan lost their concentration. Just before the final whistle, Adrián Bernabé's flick reignited the match and turned the tide for Parma, who had been applying pressure at the start of the second half, creating several chances. Enrico Delprato's header completed the comeback. A stunned Milan managed to regain their footing after a few minutes, but in the closing moments, they wasted at least three clear scoring chances.
The game ...
🟡🔵 Parma 0 - 1 AC Milan 🔴⚫️
AC Milan gained the advantage in the 12th minute. Alexis Saelemaekers netted a left-footed strike from outside the penalty area into the bottom left corner, with an assist from Christopher Nkunku. Parma's goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki, was unable to reach it and might have performed better.
🟡🔵 Parma 0 - 2 AC Milan 🔴⚫️
Issues arose for Parma when they conceded a penalty in the 25th minute. Rafael Leão successfully converted the penalty with a right-footed shot aimed at the bottom left corner. The penalty was awarded after Abdoulaye Ndiaye committed a foul in the penalty area on Alexis Saelemaekers. Leão delivered a strong cross. Goalkeeper Suzuki anticipated the move but was unable to get to it. It was a beautifully executed penalty.
🟡🔵 Parma 1 - 2 AC Milan 🔴⚫️
Parma reduced the gap just before the first half concluded. In the 45+1' minute, Adrián Bernabé scored with a left-footed shot from the right side of the box into the top left corner, assisted by Sascha Britschgi. Pervis Estupiñán struggled to protect the ball. Britschgi took it from him near the edge and passed it to the Spaniard, who then executed a fantastic left-footed curler from the right edge of the box that found the top corner. Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan was powerless to stop it.
🟡🔵 Parma 2 - 2 AC Milan 🔴⚫️
A chilly surprise for AC Milan and a joy for Parma supporters! In the 62nd minute, Enrico Delprato leveled the score at 2-2 with a header from the right side of the six-yard box into the center of the goal. He was assisted by Sascha Britschgi, who delivered a perfect cross. Parma earned their draw, and this time they were relentless. Britschgi swiftly outran Estupiñán and delivered a threatening cross that Delprato managed to block before heading it past Maignan.
Parma's Captain Enrico Delprato has been awarded the Panini Player of the Match for the match that ended in a 2-2 draw between Parma and Milan.
Statistics BEFORE the game
AC Milan has secured 30 victories out of their 56 Serie A encounters (D14, L12) with Parma; only Roma has managed to defeat them more frequently (36 times) in the top division.
AC Milan has triumphed in seven of their last 10 Serie A clashes (D2, L1) against Parma. Additionally, the Rossoneri have found the back of the net in each of their last 18 meetings with Parma in the league (42 goals scored by the Milanese during this stretch, averaging 2.3 goals per match): this marks the club's longest scoring streak in Serie A, equaling the one against Catania.
Parma clinched their most recent home victory over AC Milan in the league (2-1 on August 24, 2024); they have only managed to achieve two consecutive wins at the Tardini against the Rossoneri in Serie A once: from 1998 to 2000 (four wins in total during that period).
This season, Parma has gathered a maximum of seven points after 10 matches (W1 D4 L5 in 2025/26), which has only occurred for the third time in Serie A, following the 2005/06 and 2014/15 seasons (both with six points); in the latter instance, the Emilians also faced defeat in their 11th match.
Parma has faced losses in their last two league matches against Roma and Bologna; the Ducali have not experienced three consecutive defeats in Serie A since last January and February (they lost four in that stretch, with the first defeat being against Milan).
Player Statistics
In his first 63 out of 163 Serie A appearances, Patrick Cutrone scored 13 goals while playing for AC Milan from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, 19 of the 28 goals that the 20-year-old has netted in the top division have been at home, including six out of his last seven.
Rafael Leão, with 52 goals and 40 assists, is the only player to achieve at least 40 goals and 40 assists in the last six Serie A seasons (since 2020/21). In his last four league matches, Leão has contributed to four goals (3 goals + 1 assist); since last October, only Ange-Yoan Bonny has been involved in more goals (five) than the 20-year-old in Serie A (four, which is tied with Hakan Çalhanoglu and Nicolò Cambiaghi).
