In sum, Milan has faced all three newly promoted teams at home and has only managed to secure two points. They suffered a loss to Cremonese, drew 2-2 with Pisa, and drew 2-2 with Sassuolo.

Ismaël Koné found the net with a right-footed strike that beat AC Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan, landing in the bottom left corner. The assist came from Andrea Pinamonti. It all started with a poor pass from Rabiot, which was intercepted by Matic, leading to Pinamonti's assist to Koné.

In the 34th minute, AC Milan made a comeback. Davide Bartesaghi scored an equalizer with a left-footed shot that beat Sassuolo's goalkeeper Arijanet Muric, finding the bottom right corner. The assist came from Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
