🇮🇹     The race for the Scudetto continues!   Inter triumphed over Pisa on Friday, January 23, 2026, during Serie A Week 22 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy. This is definitely a positive turning point. Inter demonstrated their prowess by bouncing back from their Champions League setback against Arsenal, decisively defeating Pisa 6-2. This win increases their lead to 52 points in the standings over their nearest competitors, AC Milan and Napoli, who are facing critical matches against Roma and Juventus, respectively.

However, the match did not start well for Inter, as Pisa took an early two-goal lead with two strikes from Moreo. But then, the beast awakened and unleashed a flurry of goals, turning the tide of the game.

Chivu then introduced Dimarco, who made a significant impact by providing assists and scoring a goal himself. Zielinski, Lautaro, Pio Esposito, Dimarco, Bonny, and Mkhitaryan all contributed to the scoreline. The Nerazzurri are now set to enjoy their weekend, which could see them build a substantial lead in the championship race. Pisa faced a humiliating defeat, with their dream lasting less than 40 minutes.

Pisa took the lead in the 11th minute, momentarily silencing the Meazza Stadium.  Stefano Moreo found the net with a left-footed shot from over 35 yards, beating Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer in the bottom right corner.

Moreo was inspired! He scored again in the 23rd minute, heading the ball into the bottom left corner from the left side of the six-yard box. This goal was assisted by Mattéo Tramoni, who delivered a cross following a corner conceded by Lautaro Martínez.

Inter narrowed the gap in the 39th minute.  Piotr Zielinski converted a penalty with a right-footed shot, defeating Pisa goalkeeper Simone Scuffet in the top right corner. The penalty was awarded after Mattéo Tramoni handled the ball in the penalty area.

Inter leveled the score in the 41st minute. Lautaro Martínez found the net with a header from very close range, directing it to the bottom left corner. He was assisted by Federico Dimarco, who delivered a precise cross.

The dynamics of the match shifted! Inter took the lead in the 45+2 minute, just before the first half concluded. Francesco Pio Esposito scored with a header from a short distance, placing it in the high center of the goal. Alessandro Bastoni provided the assist with a well-placed cross.

In the 82nd minute, Federico Dimarco netted a goal with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box, sending the ball to the bottom left corner. This was set up by Marcus Thuram during a quick counterattack.

The Meazza Stadium erupted in the 86th minute.  Ange-Yoan Bonny scored with a left-footed shot from the left side of the box, finding the center of the goal. Federico Dimarco assisted him on this play.

The final blow came in the 93rd minute, sealing the victory!  Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored with a header from very close range, placing it in the bottom left corner after a corner was conceded by Simone Canestrelli.
