Como and Genoa ended the Serie A Week 3 match with a draw on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium in Como, Italy. Como experienced their first draw of the season, earning points after their loss at Bologna, but they couldn't achieve a second straight home victory, bringing their total to four points, equal with Cagliari and Torino.

Genoa recorded their second draw in three matches, tying with Fiorentina and Verona at two points, and notably, they scored their first goal of the season.

Both teams were eager for a comeback after suffering 1-0 losses, with Como falling to Bologna away and Genoa losing at home to Juventus. Fabregas's squad aims for a second home victory, following their league debut against Lazio, which they won without conceding, allowing them to join AC Milan and Roma with six points in the standings.

Meanwhile, Genoa is still searching for their first goal after two matches and is keen to secure their first three points of the season. Patrick Vieira's team will kick off their season on the road, having previously drawn 0-0 at home against Verona before their loss to Juventus. The Rossoblu are determined to climb the table and escape the group of Pisa, Parma, and Lecce, who are currently stuck on one point in the standings.

Nico Paz found the net with a left-footed strike into the bottom right corner. The assist came from Álvaro Morata. It was an incredible play by the number 10, who got the ball from Morata, turned around, evaded two defenders, and unleashed a strong, angled shot from 20 meters out. Leali had no chance against the Argentine's brilliant goal.

Nico Paz was honored with his Serie A Rising Star of the Month award for August at the start of the Como-Genoa match.

Genoa managed to equalize in the heart-stopping 92nd minute! Caleb Ekuban found the net with a right-footed shot aimed at the top left corner. Norton-Cuffy charged into the penalty area and tried to chip the ball over Butez. Sergi Roberto cleared the ball off the line, but in his effort, he struck the post and inadvertently set up Ekuban, who then scored the equalizer.
