Atalanta faced their second straight league loss. It was a complete breakdown for Atalanta as they fell to Sassuolo in Serie A Week 11 on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo, Italy. This defeat is particularly hard to swallow, especially after going seven Serie A matches without a victory. Atalanta lost 3-0 following their midweek Champions League triumph in Marseille (1-0). ⚽️ It's a tumultuous time for Atalanta! Sassuolo extended their lead in the 47th minute. Andrea Pinamonti found the net with a right-footed strike to the top right corner. The assist came from Domenico Berardi. Berardi nutmegged Samardzic and set up Pinamonti, who turned in the box and outsmarted goalkeeper Carnesecchi with a precise, angled right-footed shot.
