Stats BEFORE the game

AC Milan has managed to secure only two victories in their last 10 Coppa Italia matches against Lazio (D3 L5). However, one of those wins was in their latest meeting, where they triumphed 4-0 in the 2021/22 quarter-finals. The last time the Rossoneri achieved back-to-back wins against the Biancocelesti in this tournament was in January 2002, with scores of 2-1 at home and 3-2 away in the 2001/02 quarter-finals. In the Coppa Italia, AC Milan has won nine matches against Lazio (the same number against Napoli and Sampdoria), and they have only achieved more victories against Inter (11) in this competition. The Biancocelesti have won more matches against Napoli (10) and Juventus (nine) than they have against the Rossoneri (eight, which is equal to their record against Roma) in the tournament. The last 19 encounters between Lazio and Milan at the Biancocelesti's home ground across all competitions have been closely contested: each team has won six times, with seven matches ending in a draw, including two draws in the Coppa Italia (both 0-0 in the semifinals of the 2017/18 and 2018/19 editions). Following their last Coppa Italia match where they failed to score (0-2 against Inter in last season's quarterfinals), Lazio risks facing two consecutive defeats in the tournament for the first time since April-May 2017, and two straight losses without scoring for the first time since March 1981 (both 0-2 against Bologna).   Photo via x.com/MilanClubBoston     Lazio - AC Milan Olimpico di Roma Stadium Thursday 4 December 2025 Rome, Italy 21:00 Referee: GUIDA Assistants: LO CICERO – DEI GIUDICI IV: DOVERI VAR: PEZZUTO AVAR: AURELIANO ⚽️ Goals:  80' Mattia Zaccagni (L) 🟨 Yellow Cards:  2' Strahinja Pavlovic (M), 84' Koni De Winter (M) ✅ Official Lineups - Formations - Tabellino:
