Italy U-21s train in Rome but injured Berardi is unavailable for Serbia and Andorra

It was the second day of the Italy U-21s’ training camp in Rome today. They had a training session this afternoon in preparation for the home matches against Serbia and Andorra which will be played on Friday 2nd September at the Stadio Romeo Menti in Vicenza and on Tuesday 6th September at the Stadio Alberto Picco in La Spezia respectively (both kick off at 18:00 CEST).

In the morning, the Azzurrini players who played last night in Serie A joined their teammates. Domenico Berardi came along to the training camp as normal and saw the U-21s’ medical staff to assess an injury he picked up for Sassuolo against Pescara: he will not be able to play in either game and will return home this evening.
