The friendly is an important test for Luigi Di Biagio’s Azzurrini ahead of their two upcoming 2017 European Championship Qualifying matches against Serbia on 2nd September in Vicenza and Andorra on 6th September in La Spezia.
The mayor of San Benedetto del Tronto, Pasqualino Piunti, will be at the press conference alongside council member for sport, Pierluigi Tassotti; the Organisational Head of the Italy National Teams, Giorgio Bottaro; the Head of Delegation for the Italy U-21s, Giancarlo Antognoni; U-21s head coach Luigi Di Biagio; and Sambenedettese Calcio President Franco Fedeli.
The squad for the Albania friendly will be announced on Wednesday 3rd August.
