Luigi Di Biagio has called up 25 players for the matches against Serbia and Cyprus, two decisive matches for the Italy National Under 21 qualifications to the Euro playoffs and to continue to hope in the participation in the next Olympic Games. Among those called, Federico Viviani, back for the match against Cyprus after being disqualified for the one against Serbia.
The team will meet on Monday, September 1st at the Castel di Sangro and in the afternoon will have their first training session. On Friday, September 5th, at the ‘Adriatico’ stadium in Pescara (9:00 pm) the team plays against Serbia while on Tuesday, September 9th, at the ‘Teofilo Patini’ stadium in Castel di Sangro (5:00 pm) Italy plays against Cyprus in the last match of the round.
