Italy Under 19: Draw to be held May 30, 2018 in Finland for European Championship finals

Tomorrow at 12:00 local time or 11:00 CEST, the draw for the Under-19 European Championship finals will be held in Vaasa for the competition that runs between 16th and 29th July. Italy qualified after finishing top at the Elite Round stage in Friuli and will learn who the three opponents in the group stage will be tomorrow. The Azzurrini could meet the reigning champions England, home side Finland or one of France, Norway, Portugal, Turkey and Ukraine. Under-19 Coach Paolo Nicolato will be in attendance at the draw.

The top two sides from the two groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The tournament also has five places at the 2019 Under-20 World Cup in Poland at stake. The four semi-finalists and the winner of the playoff between the two third-place sides from the two groups along with the home side will take part in the World Cup between 25th May and 16th June next year.
