It’s a great chance for Italy to get closer for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification.   Italy, currently, in the second position with 10 points will look to defeat Albania at the Renzo Barbera Stadium in Palermo on Friday 24 March 2017.

Italy Head Coach Giampiero Ventura is aware of Albania’s objective to ruin their plans.   Simply put, Albania need to get points to climb the UEFA World Cup Qualification Group G Standing.  Albania with 6 points are -4 points below Italy.

Italy Coach Ventura declared during the press conference that “Away from their technical ability, we’re up against a side who want to make history and they can count on their fans who travel everywhere.  I expect them to be compact and to look to play on the break, it’s a very delicately poised and important game. We’ll have to play well and if we can win it would be an enormous step forward for how we understand the situation and our squad’s compactness. It will be an important evening for our development as you grow when faced by difficulties.”

Surely, Ventura is satisfied to see the motivation of the players united to give their best to win the game.  “I was struck but how willing the players were.  I don’t think that Spain will be expecting an easy game as Israel have only lost to us but away from that it’s our result which is key.”
