Ventura meets Genoa before trips to Napoli and Roma this weekend

Alongside his assistant Salvatore Sullo and Italy secretary Mauro Vladovich, Italy head coach Gian Piero Ventura paid a visit to Genoa today as part of his programme of visits to Serie A clubs and their managers. The Italy boss was welcomed by Fabrizio Preziosi on behalf of the owners and by new Rossoblu coach Ivan Juric at the team’s hotel at their pre-season training camp in Bardonecchia. It was a pleasant and relaxed encounter in which Ventura was given a personalised Genoa shirt as a gift. Afterwards, the Azzurri manager met the club’s players before watching the squad train during the afternoon.
Ventura has visited Juventus and Atalanta over the last few days and will continue his tour of Serie A with a trip to Napoli at the weekend and finally to AS Roma’s Fulvio Bernardini training centre in Trigoria on Monday to round off this first series of meetings.
