Italy won the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers against Malta on Saturday 14 October 2023 at the San Nicola Stadium in Bari, Italy. The Azzurri are rampant in the second half and easily dismiss the Malta problem, catching Ukraine in second place. Domenico Berardi’s first double with the national team. Goals also by Giacomo Bonaventura and Davide Frattesi, debut for Udogie.

On Tuesday, Italy return to the field. Spalletti’s boys are expected from the big match at Wembley against England, Marcolini’s team will host Ukraine.

Italy opened the score in the 22nd minute. It is Giacomo Bonaventura to defeat Malta goalkeeper Henry Bonello with a top right footed shot to the top right corner.

Italy closed the first half with another goal in the 45+1 minute. Forward Domenico Berardi scored with a left-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Nicolò Barella.
