The big moment!  Italy win the UEFA Euro 2020 Semifinal defeating Spain on penalty shootout on Tuesday 6 July at Wembley in London. Jorginho scoring the winner goal converting the penalty!!! Italy played the extra time for the 20th time in their history among EURO and World Cup, 4+ more than any other European National team.

One step closer…. This victory means, Italy reaching  33 games unbeaten (W27, D6) while Spain are the tournament’s highest-scoring team with 13 goals in six matches. The winner will play the EURO 2020 Final against England or Denmark at Wembley on Sunday.  Italy looking for their 15th consecutive victory in the competition. Italy are the second team to advance to the final in 10 different editions between European Champions and World Cups, after Germany with 14.

Highlight before the match with the national team paying tribute to Raffaella Carra, beloved Italian icon, the queen of TV, in love with football and a great fan of Italy. The Federation obtained from Uefa permission to include in the playlist used for the warm-up before the semifinal of the European Championship with Spain ‘A making love begins you’, one of her most loved songs and ballads. Raffaella died at the age of 78 on Monday 5 July.  Raffaella was also admired in Spain.
