The Azzurri arrive in Haifa and Belotti is confirmed out of the match with Israel.

With a charter flight leaving Bari, Italy left for Tel Aviv and the squad arrived in Haifa during the late afternoon where they face Israel in the first match of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia with kick-off at 20:45 CEST. The Russian Sergej Karasev will referee.
Gian Piero Ventura will have to go without Andrea Belotti after tests from the most senior member of the medical staff Enrico Castellacci revealed a light muscular strain which will keep him out of tomorrow’s match. In consultation with Torino’s medical staff, it was decided that the player would return to his club and undergo treatment there.
