Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura will direct the first training of the Italian National Team on Monday 7 November 2016 at the Technical Center in Coverciano.   There will be a press conference with Ventura at 13:30.  Training is scheduled at 15:00 and will be open to the media for the first 20 minutes.   The Italian team is preparing for the FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Liechtenstein on Saturday 12 November 2016 in Vaduz and the friendly match against Germany on Tuesday 15 November 2016 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.

As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Fiorentina defender Davide Astori is now among the 28 players in the squad because he is replacing  Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli who was injured on Sunday 6 November during the Serie A Week 12  match between Chievo and Juventus.
