Italy Attracts over 7.3 Million TV Spectators and Captures 36.42% Market Share During Türkiye Victory

The Italian National football team is clearly capturing growing enthusiasm. According to the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the match against Turkey on Monday, 28 March 2026, drew one million more viewers than the Belgium game.

Viewership numbers for the national team keep climbing. The Azzurri’s opening match of their fifth UEFA Nations League campaign on Friday attracted 6,337,000 viewers with a 34.2% audience share, while the second group match against Türkiye reached 7,380,000 viewers and secured a 36.42% share. Aired on Rai 1, Italy’s impressive 4-1 win against Turkey was once more the most-watched prime-time TV programme.

Italy will head to Paris to play against Zinedine Zidane’s France on Friday 2 October, then return to Bologna to face Vincenzo Montella’s Türkiye on Monday 5 October. Both matches begin at 20:45.
